Data Storage and Retention:

  • Audio recordings: May be temporarily stored during processing, then deleted

  • Device storage: Audio may be briefly cached on your device during processing

  • Server storage: Audio is temporarily held only during active processing, then deleted

  • Processing results: Text and task data (not audio) are stored on our secure servers and CloudKit

  • Retention period: Task data is kept for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days


Where Data is Processed:

  • Audio is captured on your device and encoded for secure transmission

  • Encoded audio is sent to Groq's API services for speech-to-text conversion

  • Groq processes the audio using their language models to generate text and task suggestions

  • Our servers coordinate the processing request and receive the text results from Groq

  • Original audio is not permanently stored by us or Groq after processing completion

  • All data transmission uses secure HTTPS encryption


Third-Party Sharing:

  • Audio recordings are temporarily shared with Groq for automated speech-to-text processing

  • Groq receives encoded audio through their secure API to generate text and task recommendations

  • Groq's data handling is governed by their privacy policy and API terms of service

  • We do NOT share audio with advertisers, social media platforms, or data brokers

  • We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your audio data beyond the speech processing service

  • No audio recordings or processing results are shared with any other third parties beyond Groq

  • Groq does not use submitted audio for training their models per their API policy


Your Data Rights:

  • You control when audio recording occurs through active use of the microphone feature

  • By using the voice recording feature, you consent to temporary sharing with Groq for processing

  • Task data can be deleted at any time through the app

  • Account deletion permanently removes all associated task data within 30 days

Our App uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data across your Apple devices.


What Data is Synced:

  • Task lists, task items, and related metadata

  • User preferences and settings

  • Subscription status and account information

  • No audio recordings are synced through CloudKit


How CloudKit Works:

Your data is encrypted and stored on Apple's secure servers

Data is automatically synced across devices logged into the same iCloud account

Apple's privacy policy governs how your data is handled in CloudKit

We do not have access to your iCloud account or other iCloud data


CloudKit Security:

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

  • Apple provides enterprise-grade security for CloudKit data

  • Your data is isolated to your iCloud account

  • We cannot access your data without your device authentication
